This Privacy Policy explains how UNO – Multiplayer Card Game ("we", "our", "the app") handles your information. We have built the app to be privacy-friendly by default: we do not collect personal data from you to play the game.
By installing or using the app you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
The app does not require an account, email, phone number, or any other personal identifier to play. You may optionally enter a nickname/avatar for display in multiplayer rooms, but this information never leaves your device.
You can erase all locally stored data at any time by clearing the app's data in your device's system settings.
The app uses a small number of third-party services to operate. Each is documented below.
We display banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads through Google Mobile Ads SDK. To deliver and measure these ads, Google's SDK may receive the following on your device:
You can opt out of personalized ads at any time via your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads. Google does not share this data with us.
See Google's privacy practices here: policies.google.com/privacy.
Multiplayer rooms can optionally be synchronized through Firebase Firestore. If you choose to host or join a multiplayer match, the room's pseudo-random room code, your self-chosen nickname, and the in-game state are stored in Firebase while the room is open. The data is removed automatically when the room closes.
Firebase is governed by Google's Firebase Privacy notice.
The app is designed to be safe for players of all ages, including children under 13 (COPPA) and under 16 (GDPR-K). We:
Parents who wish to limit ad personalization entirely can reset the device's advertising ID from system settings or enable device-wide restricted ad tracking.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Since we do not collect personal data, there is generally no further action for us to take. If you have a specific request, please contact us at factictionary@gmail.com.
Because we do not collect personal data, there are no cross-border transfers of personal data to disclose. Third-party services (Google) may transfer data across borders as part of their normal operation; their policies apply to those transfers.
We use industry-standard HTTPS / TLS for all network traffic. The app does not transmit unencrypted personal data because it does not collect any. Local data is stored using the device's standard secure storage APIs.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted inside the app for at least 30 days before they take effect.
